Transforming a home into a beautiful and functional space is an art in itself. For DGI Glen Heights Grandeur, one such transformation was executed flawlessly by Devon Grace Interiors. Through careful planning and thoughtful design choices, this home reimagined its interiors, encapsulating elegance while embodying the personality of this busy family of seven.

The significance of documenting a project of this scale upon its completion is immense. John Stoffer and I were welcomed into the home to capture all the moments that made this project unique, including styling details like fresh floral arrangements, the perfectly placed glass of red wine, a throw or hand towel tossed to look natural and effortless, a bowl of ripe avocados, and a breakfast table set for the whole family to gather...

Please enjoy the write up from DGI, along with all of the stunning photos here!

Key Elements of Interior Styling

Styling a home's interior encompasses various elements, including furniture selection, accessories, artwork, plants, and floral arrangements. Each of these contributes significantly to the overall atmosphere of the space.

A modern living room featuring a sleek fireplace and built-in shelving styled with decorative objects, books, and sculptural vases. A black round coffee table with curated styling, including a beaded garland and open book, sits in front of a neutral sectional, with a cozy lounge space visible through glass French doors.
A welcoming dining area designed for entertaining friends and family.

A contemporary dining area with a dark oval table surrounded by six curved grey chairs, set for a dinner gathering. The backdrop features a dramatic glass-enclosed wine wall stretching to the ceiling, framed by warm wood accents and open to a staircase and airy living space beyond.
A high ceiling calls for large-scale accessories to fill the built-ins while maintaining balance.

The Impact of Interior Styling

The interior styling of a home goes beyond mere aesthetics—it's about crafting an experience. A well-styled home enhances functionality and supports daily living. Every item has a purpose, which, when combined with thoughtful design, leads to an environment that is both comfortable and inspirational.

Personal style shines through when every design choice resonates with the homeowner's tastes and lifestyle. In Homer Glen, the choices made reflect not just a trend but a lasting lifestyle—creating spaces where families can connect and create lasting memories.

Each room was designed with purpose, leaving no detail behind (including a dedicated area for the family dog!).
