Designing a space that resonates with warmth and style is a thrilling challenge, especially when collaborating with Apartment Therapy Media and tapping into the vast catalog of The Home Depot products. This was the 3rd of a series of style swap projects we've worked on for the brand this year.
Most recently, my team and I had the pleasure of working with Tania in her charming home in Hinsdale, Illinois, to create a dining room that would become the heart of family gatherings. Our goal was to showcase the versatility of The Home Depot’s offerings through three distinct design swaps: Cottagecore, Mid-Century Modern, and Palm Beach.

We curated a mood board and floor plan featuring timeless elements like a textured area rug, a classic wooden dining table that comfortably seats eight, and an elegant yet understated chandelier. These elements are designed to harmonize with the light-filled space accentuated by large windows on two sides, framing a stunning view of the couple's lush green backyard.
Partnering with The Home Depot allowed us to explore an extensive range of design possibilities, resulting in a dining room that beautifully embodies Tania’s personality and lifestyle. The experience culminated in an interactive article published on ApartmentTherapy.com, where readers can engage by swapping different styles to find their favorite products. This dynamic approach enhances reader engagement while effectively driving traffic to The Home Depot's home decor site, making it a valuable resource for anyone looking to transform their space. What I loved most about this project was how Tania personalized each hand-selected piece once the photoshoot was complete by thoughtfully placing them throughout her home in the areas that meant the most to her. She graciously shared images showcasing their new, cherished spots, which made it all worthwhile!
